AWARDS AND RECOGNITION FOR KG TO GRADE 10

AWARD CRITERIA
PRINCE AND PRINCESS

 

 

 One boy and one girl across the grade will be crowned as PRINCE AND PRINCESS.

 

The award will be given on the basis of cumulative points the child will receive during the year for academics, scholastic activities and co scholastic activities.

Awards and recognition from external sources will also be considered for this award.
KHOORI  SPECIAL SCHOLARSHIP

 

 

 One student from grade 10 and 12 who scores highest total marks in board exam (not less than 90 %).

 

The marks in the following subjects will be considered English, Second Language, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies.

Will be honored as ‘STUDENT OF THE YEAR’

The child should have attained at least 91% marks in English, Second Language, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies and not less than 80% in Arabic, Islamic studies/ Moral science and UAE SST. 

Any awards, recognitions, community service or any philanthropic work will be considered as additional assets for receiving this reward.

The student should be present for each periodic assessment and the term exam to be eligible for this award.

A panel interview will be conducted for all eligible students.

SELECTION OF THE AWARD WINNERS IS COMPLETELY AT PRINCIPALS’ DISCRETION.
SCHOLAR OF THE YEAR

 

(GENERAL PROFICIENCY)

 

 One student across the grade who has secured a top score (not less than 91% in all subjects) will be honored with SCHOLAR OF THE YEAR Award.
 

 

LANGUAGE  PROFICIENCY

 ARABIC One student across the grade who has secured a top score (not less than 91%) in a particular language will be honored with LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY Award.

 One student across the grade who has secured a top score (not less than 91%) in MATHEMATICS will be honored with ARYABHATTA AWARD

(SCIENCE PROFICIENCY AWARD)

 

 One student across the grade who has secured a top score (not less than 91%) in SCIENCE will be honored with EINSTEIN AWARD

 

 
YOUNG INNOVATOR

 

(RESEARCH AND INNOVATION)

 One student across the school who has shown scientific inclination and has displayed original ideas using project /models/program/software or any other form of technology will be felicitated with YOUNG INNOVATOR award.

 

Awards or recognition from school or any recognized source will  also be considered for selections.

 
PROMISING ARTIST

 

(DRAWING, PAINTING and CRAFTS)

 A student who has shown exceptional interest in visual arts- (DRAWING, PAINTING and CRAFTS) and has received awards or recognition from school or any recognized source will be considered for selections.

 

The child who secures maximum points will be honored as PROMISING ARTIST of the year.

 

 
SANGEET VISHARAD

 

(MUSIC, DANCE, THEATRE PERFORMANCE, DRAMA, AND SINGING)

 A student who has shown exceptional interest in performing arts- (MUSIC, DANCE, THEATRE PERFORMANCE, DRAMA, AND SINGING) and has received awards or recognition from school or any recognized source will be considered for selections.

 

The child who secures maximum points will be honored as SANGEET VISHARAD of the year.

  
CHAMPION OF THE YEAR

 

(SPORTS)

 A student who has shown exceptional interest in SPORTS across the grade (INDOOR/OUTDOOR) and has received awards or recognition from school or any recognized source will be considered for selections.

 

The child who secures maximum points will be honored as CHAMPION OF THE YEAR.

 
ENVIRONMENTALIST This award will be presented to one student across the grade who has shown sustained commitment and dedication towards environment and community affairs. This can be through volunteering, social enterprises, education or initiatives

 

Recommendation or appreciation from authorised environmental agencies, school eco-club or third-party endorsements will be considered  as an additional element.
